A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this niche 3 Partner private practice as a key member of the management team. Our client is looking to the future and is seeking an assistant to support the practice manager on the day to day running of the law firm with a view of the successful applicant taking over the reigns in the future. The role is currently been seen as a job share and will see you working a 3 day week initially but with plans for this to increase as they current incumbent takes a further step to retirement. This challenging role will see you w! orking very closely with many of the firm including the Partne! rs, fee earners and support staff.
You will assist the practice manager in duties such as daily financial transactions ensuring in line with the SRA account rules using Law Fusion software as well as bank reconciliations, nominal and purchase ledger, petty cash and general accounting duties. This is accompanied by assisting in the smooth running of the office dealing with HR issues, supervision of the administration team and liaising with the Partners with ad hoc duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal cashier looking to take the next step in their development or a practice manager looking to return to work on a part time basis.
