Library Assistant

Description: West Sussex County Council is looking of Library Assistant right now, this position will be located in . Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and resourceful person with excellent digital skills and able to multi-task in a busy library community space. You will help deliver a high quality enquiry service, providing accurate information and signposting to other services. An important part of your role will be to promote our digital services and help residents get online using library computers and Wifi. You will also be involved in reading activities for targeted groups, including children, young people and older people, such as rhyme time for under-fives or a knit & natter group.
You will be an excellent team player, able to work alongside other services and volunteers, providing excellent customer service to everyone that visits our building.
The role involves periods of lone-working and is an active role that may involve lifting and standing for long periods of time.
