A fast paced and exciting role has arisen within the Digital Production area of Vodafone UK. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and creative Desi! gner to join our global HQ in Newbury

Working within the production department of Transformation & Online organisation you’ll be responsible for delivering deliver an excellent user and visual experience across Vodafone.co.uk. You’ll take ownership for creating, sourcing and adapting imagery in line with the Vodafone brand guidelines to deliver a consistent and engaging experience across the Vodafone online estate. You’ll also be a key individual in drive design best practice across our business.

As a Designer your main responsibilities will involve:

• Designing, illustrating, creating and amending graphics and Web pages for Vodafone’s online landscape.
• Consulting and advising on Web site layout and creation, driving the consistent use of templates across multiple Vodafone areas
• Creating and working within Vodafone’s standards for visual design.
• Contribute to design strategy using analytical data and u! ser testing results
• Managing copyrighted assets, ensu! ring images are legal for use on the website
• Driving the creative experience holistically across all domains as at a project by project level.

As a Designer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Degree level (or equivalent) Design qualification and proven experience within online design.
• Experience of multiple software packages, including;
• Photoshop
• Fireworks
• Image ready
• Freehand or Illustrator.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical issues, design functionality and cross browser testing.
• Full knowledge of graphics creation and manipulation optimised for palette, size, and speed of download.
• Illustration skills and/or multimedia experience.
• Be capable of representing the team at a various levels
• Have excellent personal organisation and time management.
