The Customer Support Technician is a key role reporting to the Network Manager within Wastewater Network Operation! s. You will be seen as the Customer Champion, responding on a proactive, planned and reactive basis to meet the Customer needs and demands. Acting as the face of United Utilities in the field you will be key in delivering first time resolution and providing excellent customer service. Role details, Skills, Experience

Work as part of a team within the respective Network area, being accountable for the delivery of first time reactive resolution, excellent customer service, and the collection of the required regulatory data that is reliable, accurate and complete.

Work alongside the Network Maintenance Alliance Gang as part of a reactive resolution team.

Dealing with customers affected by Flooding, Pollution, Odour, Blockages, Collapses and Defective Apparatus on the Wastewater Network, resolving the incident first time, and providing excelle! nt Customer Service.

Utilise the appropriate resource! s within United Utilities Water to undertake daily duties e.g. Field Team, Alliance Response Centre, Technical Team and the Network Maintenance Alliance, etc. Within the Network Field Team the role holder will receive the necessary support and guidance to resolve the customer issues on a permanent basis.

Required, in line with customer demand, to participate in a shift rota with operational coverage from 08:00am until 22:00pm 7 days a week, 365 days a year, working across a number of Network areas as and when required. Essential Criteria including any necessary qualifications

Candidates should have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) A â€" C (including Maths and English).

Possess logical problem solving skills.

Have the ability to think clearly in difficult situations.

Able to demonstrate a proven history of delivering excellent customer service, preferably face to face.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A f! ull driving licence is also required. Desirable Criteria including any necessary qualifications

BTEC standard or equivalent in Sewerage Engineering.

NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care. Additional Information These roles are based at various locations across the Northwest. 2 @ Blackburn, 3 @ Davyhulme Manchester, 1 @ Stockport and 1 @ Crewe.
