About the employer:
The Aldridge Foundation established Aldridge Education as a national multi-academy trust in September 2016, taking over responsibility from the Foundation for its family of academy schools and colleges.
There are currently eight schools within the MAT and an adult education provider and we are also the Lead Sponsor of a free-standing academy, Kensington Aldridge Academy.
Brief overview of the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for anybody looking to kick-start a career in marketing. The role has a dual purpose, to assist in all the digital marketing requirements of the School, but also to work with Media equipment, such as broadcast cameras, lighting rigs etc. The school is based in the heart of Media City in Salford.
Working week:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm

This is a brilliant opportunity for an apprentice to be involved in helping to support both the Marketing elements of the School, but also be involved in the Media side. The school is in the heart of MediaCity in Salford, with a main focus within the digital media sector, whether that be in TV and film production, game design, digital design, graphic design or photography.
The purpose of the role would be -
As a Digital Marketing and Media Apprentice your main role and responsibilities will include:
- Creating and managing social media campaigns across multiple sites.
- Writing content for the company website.
- Carrying out data analysis from marketing campaigns.
- Carrying out SEO on the company website.
- As well as other tasks required
In addition to the Digital Marketing the role will also involve -
- Supporting with set up and maintenance of Media Equipment such as lighting rigs, broadcast cameras and the like.
- Supporting with the booking of such equipment.
- Installation & Termination of cables
- Fault finding and resolution
You’ll learn and use skills that will support you as you take on the wide range of tasks, the Media elements of the apprenticeship will be delivered in-house by the employer, and will add an additional element to the apprenticeship.

Qualifications Required:
To be considered for this role, you ideally will hold a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English.
