Procurement Support for Aerostructure and Electrics [Portugal]


 

Job Description:

We are launching a new position for the Procurement Team at Airbus Portugal GBS!

Main responsibilities

  • Contributing to the definition, consolidation and development of the commodity strategy (market analysis, spend, key suppliers, cost drivers) in close cooperation with the key stakeholders members of the MFT (Multi-Functional Team).

  • Supporting the tender process by negotiating Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA), by setting up the Airbus Procurement tool (via Procurement tool) by supporting the offer review and analysis.

  • Be accountable for the management of the yearly Supplier Evaluation and Development process (SED) for Electrics and Aerostructures suppliers.

  • Supporting transversally Commodity for price escalation management and end of price/contract validity (database management and action plan definition with associated commodity managers).

  • Ensuring adequate performance level from suppliers via robust and systematic consequential management and claim process.

  • Foster digitalization initiatives for the team: implementation of digital signatures for suppliers, cascade of business requirements through CLIP tool…

  • Ensure compliance with Export Control regulations by monitoring Supplier Declaration Form (ECCD)

  • Report and give visibility to ongoing projects

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or business administration

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks

  • Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment

  • High level of motivation, proactive mindset

  • English: Advanced level

  • Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain or similar fields of expertise would be an asset

  • Experience in the aerospace sector would be a plus

  • Spanish, German or French would be a plus
