KM5906 Design EngineerSalary Up To amp pound 35kPosition PermanentLocation East KentA Design Engineer is required by this dynamic multimillion pound global organisation The Design Engineer will be responsible for! the design of new products into the market place whilst adhering to strict internal procedures This is a very exciting period of growth for the organisation and the Design Engineer will be joining a professional and highly motivated team with a focus on quality in a niche product area The Design Engineer should ideally have experience working within manufacturing Key responsibilities include Designing new products along with necessary development and introductions of the new productsExperienced and proficient with creating and understanding engineering drawings and models Ensuring that the development falls within the given cost parameters whilst meeting customers requirements Ensuring the design is suitable to be produced and is sustainableWorking to current instructions of new products with regards to designing and developing Essential Qualities include Qualified to HNCHND level or equivalent within engineering design Engineering design and manufacturing experience inclu! ding CADProven problem solving experienceExperience or knowled! ge of manufacturing and process instructionsExperience or knowledge of materials selection tools design engineering tools and the associated techniquesProficient with all aspects of understanding and amending engineering drawings Desirable Qualities includeExperience within process or production engineeringExperience of using relevant softwareProject management experienceInterested applicants will be expected to complete and return by email a simple application form to which CVs must be pastedSalary Up To amp pound 35k
