Location: Nakhon Pathom , Thailand
Reports to: Purchasing Manager (based in Thailand)
Summary:
- Responsible for managing supplier relations at a tactical level, may negotiate product cost, and utilizing terms and conditions, working with internal customers to reduce product cost, improve the supply chain and evaluate supplier performance, and executing purchase orders and manages raw material inventory.
- Manage all action of purchasing of all items to the facility in conducted ethic manner & direct manage on time and best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage department operations and supervises professional employees, frontline supervisors and/or business support staff.
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals.
- Ensures employees in team operate within guidelines.
- Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers.
- Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management.
- Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects.
- Gains consensus from various parties involved.
- Essential duties and functions, pursuant to act on behalf of the Company in all matters pertaining to the purchases of Goods and /or services for The Company by included the following:
- Ensure that the vendor selected is meeting the quality requirement of the plant.
- Manages purchasing orders by reviewing, verifying, and investigating problems with purchase orders and calling appropriate parties.
- Ensure the credit or discount is received and applied to appropriate funds.
- Ensure that the vendor audit is carried out as plan.
- Carry out the vendor evaluating for all purchasing items to the facilities.
- Keeps vendors informed by confirming and clarifying purchase orders or contracts; noting shipping or back-order delays with related to over sea sources by follow up on open purchase order, coordinating receipts and disposition of rejected materials and solving problems associated with vendor.
- Review and Evaluated Vendor base on promising time of delivery, Quality.
- Review / Prepare PPV report and vendor evaluation by collecting, analyzing, calculating, compiling, and summarizing departmental accuracy by reported to Plant Director and who's concerning.
- Monitors & prepares budget allocations each Fiscal year of raw materials and expenditures.
- Review / Update the RMPS as currently active in the Purchasing Module, Update Vendor history in the system.
- Control open Purchase order as procedure system require.
- Manage the process to ensure that workplace condition comply with an occupational health and safety standard and requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or related discipline with minimum 5 years experience in Supervisory or Management Level.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Procurement and Purchasing function with direct experience in evaluating vendors and Auditing.
- Good negotiation skills with vendors.
- Advance skill in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in Medical/healthcare device manufacturing is beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Access, Word, Power Point.
- Good command of business English and native Thai required for the role.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO and Safety.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation skills and Excellent problem-solving skills.
