Description: Shaw Trust is currently seeking to employ Employment Adviser (ST/2128) right now, this occupation will be placed in England. Experience and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience of successfully working to targets within the employment/training/recruitment sectors.
  • Experience of supporting and advising customers with complex and/or multiple barriers to success.
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and local disadvantaged groups.
  • Understanding of employer expectations and career oppor! tunities.
  • Good verbal, presentation and written skill! s and ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases.
  • Understanding of ISO and other quality standards.
  • Understanding of UK Welfare to Work sector
Desirable:
  • Previous experience within Welfare to Work sector.
  • Knowledge of benefit system and welfare to work programmes
Qualifications and Professional Development

  • Holding or able to achieve the ERS qualification or equivalent.
