Seasonal Contract (32 Hours)
Reports to: Shop Manager
Depa! rtment: Retail
Overall Purpose of Job
To assist the manager in the efficient running of the shop at all times while maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
Main duties & responsibilities:
Acceptance of bets and payments in accordance with company procedures
Efficient use of screens and keypads to provide accurate information to customers
Responsible for the accuracy of EPOS
Ensuring the shop is safe, clean and tidy at all times to create a welcoming environment for customers
Develop excellent customer relations
Essential Criteria:
ü 18 years or over
ü Minimum of one year’s cash handling and customer service experience
ü Retail betting assistant experience is desirable
ü Interest in sport
ü Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
ü Team Player
ü Computer Literate
ü Strong numerical! skills
ü Flexible approach to working hours and con! ditions, must be available to work over 7 days per week
ü Ability to travel within allocated district
Paddy Power offers full induction training prior to commencement, along with a structured on the job training programme to all employees. Paddy Power retail shops operate seven days a week and flexible working arrangements are necessary in order to satisfy operational requirements.
