An interesting and challenging role looking after the operational planning and running of 2 sites for a renowned Museum Group, in York and Bradford. The role is multi faceted and involves all aspects of Retail ! Management including ; recruitment, training and staff development, delivery and exceeding sales budgets and KPI's through delivery of excellent customer service, product merchandising to a high standard and strategic planning and implementation of promotions and events. It will entail working to budgets, profit and loss, change management and the ability to be positive and reflect this to your team. The successful candidate will have had previous Store Management experience, looking after a turnover of at least £1.5 million and a team of over 20 staff, along with a proven track of problem solving by going the extra mile for both your colleagues and the customer.
There are elements of this role with true peaks and troughs so you will need to be able to adapt staffing as well as sales strategies accordingly and have the ability to adapt and lead by example. Communication is key as you are part of a larger organisation so will represent the brand to both internal an! d external partners and customers. As this is a dual site role! you will be required to travel and so must have your own transport.
