This role is all about delivering large and complex Information Management programmes to a variety of large corporate clients. Working closely with the Account Managers, Advisory Consulting and Solution Delivery Practices, the Client Engagement Director must have excellent high level consulting skills, executive (CxO) engagement experience and the understanding of a clients business problems to support the definition and architecture of viable strategies, roadmaps and solutions and guide the implementation of the teams within the clients environment.

The Client Engagement Director will:
Build trusted relationships across the clients business to ensure that the projects can be successfully delivered and that everyone receives consistent, clear communications that eliminate surprises, Lead teams to come up with creative ways to translate concepts and ideas into practical and tactical solutions, and; Foster innovation and maximise customer return on investment. The candidate is expected to be a very senior visionary consultant who is evangelical about making a difference in Information Management and has successfully delivered corporate information solutions for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities Client environments will vary in size, complexity, industry sector and working arrangements, so the scope of each programme will vary. Flexibility of approach is required in carrying out responsibilities, including: Take the needs and challenges of a client and partner with them to formulate the delivery road map and project plans to support business strategies and goals. Liaise with client senior management to establish corporate Information Management programmes including systems, capabilities and processes. Execute account strategy; orchestrate the creation, sale of successful value propositions at the company and individual level. Navigate teams through all phases of project delivery to ensure successful delivery of exceptional technical solutions Manage delivery scope and risks throughout the lifecycle of the project / programme. Ensure the client delivery experience exceeds expectations. Be an inspiration for innovation to the client. Become a trusted and valued partner of senior client executives (CxO). Maintain, and deepen where possible, existing client relationships to identify continuing opportunities for business development. Capture innovations, lessons learned and successes on projects and share them with the wider company. Build positive team dynamics and relationships with client staff; remedying dysfunction to maintain healthy and productive communities at the Client. Help create and support sales activities with the Account Managers Supporting business development and pre-sales activities including proposal writing.

Qualifications

The role requires extensive experience of leading the delivery of a significant number of Information Management implementations in a variety of large corporate environments. It requires someone who understands how business works and how Information Management solutions can improve performance. In particular: Proven expertise in driving the implementation of clients information management strategy programme s Board level engagement skills Operating with significant autonomy, latitude in meeting objectives and enacting change Execution of corporate information management strategies Delivery of Business Intelligence to meet strategic business requirements Focus on realising the benefits of corporate Business Intelligence investments A range of experience of delivering Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing technologies including user interfaces and of particular interest using the Microsoft or SAP-based BI technology stacks end -to-end. A proven track record of successful implementation of a number of leading edge technological BI solutions within blue-chip large client companies preferably across a number of business verticals A proven ability to develop clear understandings of clients strategic needs and the ability to articulate them for delivery teams. Experience of delivering large IT led organisational Change Management programmes at large corporate clients. Experience of consultancy roles in solution delivery Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching experience. Range of industry experience including consumer focused industries such as Financial Services, Retail, FMCG, Media or Telecommunication. Exposure to a variety of Project Management methodologies Account development experience; creating, maintaining and/or enhancing customer relationships that have yielded business opportunity

The resilience to approach challenging issues with a positive and fresh outlook. Excellent Mentoring and Coaching Skills to support the professional development scheme.

Technical Qualifications and Skills Project Management of Information Management implementations with budgets in excess of 2M An working appreciation of PRINCE and Agile SCRUM methodologies Data Management a strong understanding Architecture, Governance, Quality, Modelling Information Management Architectures a strong understanding of the architectural components (Data Integration, ODS, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, BI Tools, Analytics, Visualisation)

Additional Information

Base Salary: 90k - 125k per annum dependent on background and experience plus a significant bonus opportunity and a comprehensive range of employee benefits. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom and will be required to partake in pre-employment background checking.
