QA Analyst
Location: Brighton England
Description: Healthcare at Home is employing QA Analyst right now, this position will be placed in England. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Responsibilities include:
Gain familiarity with the company’s business practices and business model.
Understand in detail the requirements and changes associated with projects.
Analysis of varied! documentation (written Specifications, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Storyboards etc.) to produce formal written functional Test Cases.
Perform documentation reviews to assess as fit for purpose.
Perform functional tests solo and as user acceptance tests using Test Runs created within Visual Studio Team Server Edition for Testers (2010).
Perform Regression testing using existing Test Cases.
Perform end to end Scenario Validation.
Write, maintain and update testing documentation using MS Word.
Present reports to business stakeholders detailing test coverage, risk vs. coverage, pass rates etc.
Conduct Parallel Testing with User Groups. This may involve travel to company sites based in Bristol and Featherstone.
Bug Reporting within Visual Studio Team Server Edition for Testers.
Participate in Bug Triage meetings with the Development Manager.
Creation and Maintenance of Test Plans
Enhancement ! and Development of the Company’s testing strategy and methodologies.
To participate in the selection of Test Management tools.
Maintain an awareness of new tools and methodologies in the field of Software Testing
To work within documented procedures.
To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the job.
Experience
Must have experience of acting as a tester in previous role(s).
Must have experience of writing formal test documentation using MS Word.
Should have worked in small teams and as part of a small testing group.
Must demonstrate experience in rapidly absorbing the details of an unfamiliar company/sector environment and being able to write coherent tests for this.
Should have experience of using the Visual Studio Team Server Edition for Testers.
Should have experience in Microsoft SQL! .
Must have excellent interpersonal skills. The applicant must be able to communicate with staff at all levels within the organisation and maintain excellent working relationships with Subject Matter Experts.
Writing of Procedures.
