JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Roles
Be the single point of contact for interfacing design issues relating to vessel upgrades within the SD2 team.
Deputise for the Vessel Upgrades Manager when required.
Assist in the evaluation of technical submissions for the upgrade and modification of vessels and associated offshore equipment.
Review technical requirements from internal delivery teams.
Manage studies and reviews performed by independent 3 rd parties.
Development of cost estimates detailing upgrade options
Responsibilities
Maintain reporting systems and records to enable tracking and progress of engineering to be monitored.
Provide input to SD2 project services management reports.
Liaison with installation contractors site supervision team for technical, HSE, and progress matters
Monitor contractors reporting and investigate any anomalies
Ensure that lessons learned are appropriately considered in refurbishment and upgrade programs.
Identify unresolved problems to the Vessel Upgrades Manager.
Review and monitor cost activities to ensure deliverables are achieved.
Review installation contractors technical proposals for refurbishment and upgrade programs to ensure they meet the requirements for offshore installation activities.
Create and encourage team working and harmony.
Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication with team and Contractors.
