WorleyParsons Environment provides a full range of environmental services and has a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation and quality of work. Our environmental consulting services include Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA), contaminated land and remediation management advice, water resources and sustainability advice. Our aim is to build long term relationships with major resource and energy clients providing cutting edge technical services and advice to support major capital investment projects. We want to be seen as the âgo-toâ consultancy for complex projects in the most challenging and harshest geographies. We are currently recruiting for a full-time staff Senior Consultant - Contaminated Sites. To be based in our Leeds office.
Core Responsibilies will include:
- Technical responsibilities will include desk studies
- Data management â" review and interpretation
- Undertake technical project work to a high standard
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and
- Manage Health and Safety on site
- Provide site Health and Safety training
- Prepare HSSE plans and method statements
- Understand the content and significance of proposals
- Take ownership of own CPD and professional
- Take an active part in the performance review
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree,
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experienced in land quality and groundwater risk
- Experience of presenting analysing and interpreting
- Knowledge of hydrogeology, contaminated land,
- Knowledge and experience of desk studies
- Knowledge of soil/water/gas and vapour sampling
- Experience of technical reporting and related field
- Ability to manage HSSE aspects of site work and to
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write clear, concise reports and think
- IT skills â" word, excel, powerpoint, outlook
- Full valid driving license.
