Location: 1) Muadzam Shah, Pahang 2) Bukit Ibam, Pahang 3) Gua Musang, Kelantan 4) Kuala Kurau, Perak
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to repair and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure machines such as farm tractors, grader, compactor, backhoe, genset and other specialized tools are in good condition for operation;
- To troubleshoot machine breakdown and failure to ensure minimum production downtime;
- To carry out preventive and corrective maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime, maximize operational efficiency and extend the lifespan of machinery;
- Monitor and follow up on material that required for maintenance job and responsible to inform superior for ordering;
- Supervise a team of technicians and apprentice, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the maintenance team. Conduct regular safety training and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- You will be required to carry out any duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the Estate Manager from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years working experience in machinery maintenance.
- Prior experience in palm oil estate will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage. Responsible and able to work independently.
- Able to work overtime and as and when required.
