Job Description

Job Description:

• Responsible for Architecting Big Data systems architecture, design and development of large, scaled out, real-time, high performing Data Lakes
• Build reliable and scalable data pipelines
• Build data correlation logic's for Big-data data lake in the project
• Architecture and design process of new use cases
• Work together with other sub teams like UI team and rollout project teams
• Take ownership of pipelines and tools

Qualifications

Profile:

• Experience in multi-terabyte production environments
• Highly proficient with large data sets and clusters
• Well versed in the Data domains (Data Warehousing, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Analytics, BI, Operational Data Store, Metadata, Unstructured Data, ETL)
• Experience / Knowledge in data mining, machine learning, and data science
• Strong experience working with big data systems and distributed computing, such as Hadoop and Spark, Cloud era Platform
• Strong experience with Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark, Sqoop, SQL, Spark Structured Streaming, Parquet on Linux environment
• Strong experience in Data modelling
• Strong experience in Python programming language and PV Spark
• Strong hands-on experience with Message broker like Kafka
• Strong hands-on experience with Mongo DB
• Hands on experience in Unit and integration testing
• Hands on experience in Dev Ops tools and in CI/CD software
• Hands on experience in orchestration tools like Airflow
• Good problem-solving skills
• Working experience Agile Scrum / Cross-functional team is an added advantage

Nice to have:

• Overall 10+ years of Industry experience
• Min 4 years of experience as an Architect in end-to-end Big Data & Data Engineering project implementation on on-premises or Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Min 4+ years as a big data specialist working in and with data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and cloud platforms
• Min 7+ years of in-depth experience in data modeling and experience with business intelligence systems (dimensional modeling, data mining, predictive analytics)
• Min 7+ years with distributed data management, data storage including databases (Relational, NoSQL, Big Data, Data Analysis, Data Processing, Data Transformation, High availability, and Scalability)
