RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Test, repair and maintain MWD tools according to repair manauel and checklist requirements using various tool, including oil fill station, digital , volt, ohm & micrometers,
- Ability to used hand/mechnichal tools as necessary including vacuum gauges, pressure gauges and torque wrenches
- Document all repair and maintenance performed on each MWD tool.
- Complete work orders, checklist tool tracking on TAT and DSIM.
- Issue used spare parts from JDE.
- Collect data from tool memory and update tool records including hours down hole, temperature, shock, vibration, etc.
- Track and document maintenance cycles for each tool, including serial, part and asset number, job number and job hours.
- Submit Job documentation to service manager for billing process.
- Ability to troubleshot the tools as necessary in the event tool functionality issue or tool failure.
- Disassemble and re-assemble tools
- Advise Lead MWD Maintenance Technician of any problems with tools or failures to meet specifications
- Maintain clean and organized work area and attend to miscellaneous shop duties
- Fill pulsers with oil using.
- Ability to test MWD tools and preforem function/roll test.
- Perform duties according to operation needs
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Essential:
- Experience 2 to 3 years in MWD repair and maintenance.
- Education: Bachelor or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Skil: Self Starter. ability to preform the work with minimum Supervision.
- Mechanical Skills. HSE awareness of lithium battery handling.
