About the role

At MatchWorks we have an opportunity to join our teams across multiple sites in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. This role is critical to support job seekers find inclusive employment. The role of an Employer Engagement Partner or simply a business development consultant, is to partner with internal & external stakeholders to secure meaningful employment for our applicants.

This role is a combination of on the road & office time across multiple sites. This will include client visits, networking events & development opportunities. Here is a snapshot of a day in the life of an EEP.

  • Labour market & networking
  • Wage Subsidy Management
  • Job Seeker engagement & Post Placement support
  • Documentation & Account Management
  • Reverse Marketing, generate new & repeat business
  • Collaborate & partner with Employment Consultants to secure successful placements

Skills & Experience

You are self-driven, resilient, hungry to succeed & experienced in sales (Retail, Hospitality or other), business development, account management, and or cold calling then this role could be ideal for you!

Experience within the Employment Services sector is not essential, we have a strong induction and support network to help you succeed.

  • Strong Communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven sales experience, reverse marketing, & cold calling (face to face and phone)
  • Build rapport, grow &maintain relationships with clients, peers, & jobseekers
  • Enjoy achieving KPI’s – we aren’t selling cars; we are securing meaningful work for vulnerable individuals

About you

You will have the ability to bounce back when things are challenging, conflict resolution & resilience is essential. Can problem solve on the run, whilst maintaining integrity & accountability. Lastly you are flexible, adaptable, & willing to learn and grow, take on coaching & feedback.

Additionally, what you will need to be successful in this role,
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
  • Current driver's license
  • Holds a NDIS worker screening check or are willing to obtain one
