The Marylebone Hotelnow has an excellent opportunity available for aHousekeeping Supervisorto join our housekeeping team. You will assist the Executive Housekeeper with the effective and professional management of the team and with creating a positive working environment for all Accommodation Assistants by facilitating open commun! ication and demonstrating an unerring commitment to the hotel ! and to guests. Purpose: To maximise guest satisfaction by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are in maintained in accordance with hotel standards through supervision, direction and co-ordination of Accommodation Assistants. Key Responsibilities: Ensure smooth running of the Housekeeping Department.Supervise the activities of all Accommodation Assistants ensuring all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are performing all duties to a consistently high standard.Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner by every team member.Assist with the preparation of weekly rotas and ensure a balance of duties within the team.Co-ordinate individual and group arrivals and departures.Daily monitoring of rooms by conducting and documenting inspections of assigned rooms.Check the status of all rooms ( i.e. out of order, VIP's, etc) and communicate with appropriate personnel on a daily basis.Stock Control.
