We are looking for a part time kitchen assistant to join us at the Holmfirth Vineyard.
The Vineyard is nestled in the picturesque Holme Valley and facilities include an onsite restaurant, vineyard tour and wine tasting experiences and self-catering holiday apartments. The vineyard has also become a very popular wedding and events venue.
Job description:
· Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, pots, pans etc.. are cleaned in a timely fashion
· Assisting the chefs with food preparation, full training will be given
· Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen
Required Skills:
· Work well under pressure - we have a very busy restaurant and events trade so the kitchen is a very busy environment to work in
· Willingness to learn new skills - the chefs will train you with new skills to help with food preparation
What we need from you:
· Flexibility – we are open 7 days a week and you will be required to work evenings and weekends
· Due to our location having access to your own transport would be ideal but is not essential
What you will get from us:
· Contracted to a minimum of 16 hours a week but with the possibility of working full time hours during busy periods
· Competitive hourly rate of pay ranging from £6.50 - £10.50 an hour which will be dependent on experience
