Who we are looking for
As the Brand Creative DE&I Program Specialist, you will oversee and track the progress of all workstreams that fall under this initiative, making sure we deliver and achieve our goals with the given timelines and budgets. To accomplish this work you will partner directly with many teams across the Brand Creative function, including Creatives, Narratives, Producers and Project Managers.
You are passionate, organized and enjoy finding solutions whatever the challenge. Whether you're handling the timelines and managing the resourcing of teams or working with cross-functional partners to ensure we achieve what we set out to do, you don't get phased by the unknown but rather motivated by the challenge of learning as you go.
When it comes to communication, you can digest, edit and circulate the most important information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders. However complex the task, you seek to gain clarity on priorities and are not afraid to speak-up when you need support or guidance.
You are an effective collaborator who knows how to get the best out of everyone. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and advising others around you, proactively helping the team around you to develop their skills and our creative output.
What will you work on?
Planning, resourcing, and intake of projects
You will be responsible for the intake and planning of all DE&I workstreams withing Brand Creative, tracking all active projects, ensuring scope of workstreams, as well as team capacity are reflective of strategic plans and priorities. You will work to increase efficiencies and support in planning new projects – forecasting timelines, defining teams, and setting approaches, whilst driving our creative priorities.
You will handle administration across our DE&I initiatives, including the operational budget.
You will be the key partner to our HR team (Business HR, Talent Acquistion, Total Rewards and the Mobility team.)
You will lead recruitment process for all internship programs across the Geo.
You will seek to establish and improve existing processes and introduce new ways of working – from tools through to onboarding to ensure that all programs run efficiently and effectively.
Overview of BC DE&I Programs
School-to-Swoosh is our overall DE&I program and exists of several pillars:
Internship program: Ran biannually across all of our studios (Netherlands, Berlin, London and Paris): 2x 5 internships across different disciplines.
Workshops: A series of creative workshops across our EMEA studios inviting school pupils to explore the work of Brand Creative – organized throughout the year.
Mentorships: A series of mentor/mentee relations in support of people in the community.
Talk Series: An internal talk series designed to showcase new, immerging and diverse creative talent across EMEA in aim to broaden our creative network for future projects.
Who you will work with
As a Brand Creative Program Specialist you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary squad, who focus on running our various DE&I programs.
You will also be a key player in welcoming and supporting all interns through their 6 month journey with us – offering support, guidance and direction wherever needed.
Beyond Brand Creative you will partner closely with a few stakeholders from the HR function (being Business HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and the Mobility team).
What you bring to Nike
- Project or program management experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Process oriented with some experience managing timelines, budgets, and results.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - able to develop positive relationships with teams across multiple business functions.
- Familiar with:
HR processes around recruitment (including systems & tools in support of recruitment efforts such as posting roles, sourcing candidates, interview processes, communication to candidates etc.) Understanding of internship contracts and understanding of more general mobility queries as we offer international moves in some cases.
