Accounting Assistant - Remote [Mexico]


 

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for inputting invoices into the property management software and paying bills in the corporate accounting software. Also preparing leases and addenda for resident leasing and renewals and helping with security deposit reconciliations and keeping up with service requests so they are not allowed to age.

Responsibilities

  • Entering Invoices & Bills in PM Software.
  • Compare invoices to the requested work and address discrepancies.
  • Entering data and uploading documents to our management software.
  • Prepare and send electronic lease and appropriate paperwork.
  • Process security deposit disbursements.
  • Qualify incoming work orders by asking exploratory questions regarding the maintenance concern.
  • Process lease applications. Request missing information.
  • Schedule and perform semiannual surveys of every property in the portfolio.
  • Ensure all Owners’ insurance programs are up to date.

Qualifications

  • +2 years proven Experience in similar roles
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting Knowledge is a must
  • Experience with Appfolio Property Manager preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Quickbooks Online
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Employment Type: Full-time, 8am to 5pm, Weekends off.

Proposed Salary: 1200-1300 USD a month based on experience.
