Description: Harvey Nichols is currently seeking to employ Stock Assistant right now, this position will be designated in . Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. ~A role has arisen for an experienced Stockroom Assistant to work on a full-time basis in our Knightsbridge store.
Working alongside other Stockroom Assistants as well as Management and Sales staff, you will be responsible for carrying out all pre-retail procedures a s new deliveries of stock are received. You will be required to maintain stock holding areas in an organised and safe manner as well as regularly carrying out selected procedures with use of our stock management system.
Candidates must possess exceptional communication skills in order to keep management and designated staff informed of any relevant stock issues if and when they arise. Applicants should have prior experience of working with stock management systems and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm in a stockroom role. Full training of store procedures will be given.
It is essential that candidates have a good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, a flexible approach is required as priorities within the department will change in line with the business needs, you must be an excellent communicator, team player, committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times. The role will involve heavy lifting and you must have the ability to multi task and prioritise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines
Candidates must work well under pressure and have excellent IT skills, proven experience in a similar role is needed.
This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week over 5 days a week on a rota basis and will involve weekend and evening shifts
