Commitment to working a minimum of 12 hours every weekend, both Saturdays and Sundays including Bank holidays.

A bit about the role;
We are recruiting for experienced Call Handlers to join our busy 111 call centre in Dorking, Surrey (which is easily commutable from Reigate) working part time (minimum of 12 hours) every weekend, both Saturdays and Sundays. We also have some evening shifts available additionally to working weekends if youâre looking for a few more hours (up to 30 hours).
As a 111 Call Handler you will be answering inbound calls from members of the public within a defined timeframe using NHS Pathways software where you help advise the patientâs to the appreciate service. The patient may need to speak with a Clinical Advisor. You may need to arrange for an ambulance to be dispatched if itâs an emergency or provide information about available services.
You will follow the NHS Pathways license requirements and comply with all policies and regulations relating to clinical governance and patient confidentiality.
Full Training is provided, our courses are either full time lasting 4 weeks Monday to Friday 9.00 am â" 5.00 pm or part time lasting 5 weeks, Saturdays and Sundays 9.00 am â" 5.00 pm and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6.00 pm â" 9.30 pm.
You will need to complete full NHS Pathways and system training to equip you for the role and you will be supported by Supervisors and Clinical Advisors.
Pay Rates
During training; £8.38 per hour (for the first 6 weeks)
Day rate; £9.32 per hour
Night rate; £11.59 per hour

NHS 111 is a 24/7 service operating 365 days a year which is non-emergency telephone service providing patients advice to the most appropriate urgent care service they require.
