Senior Portfolio Analyst
We have an opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to deliver excellence in the form of Portfolio Management & Assurance activities within our Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) function.
SPM forms part of the Chief Operating Office which supports Corporate Banking, its businesses and functions, in becoming a sustainable, world leading commercial bank. We do this by delivering effective change, operational services and helping the business stay in control for the b! enefit of our customers.
SPM also provides a range of deli! very assurance and support services to all the change functions across the UK Corporate and Commercial businesses and functions, whilst also aligning delivery of change to our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you’ll embed appropriate portfolio management best practice tools and techniques to facilitate management and control of the Corporate Banking Division (CBD) investment portfolio to achieve strategic objectives / business priorities. And, you’ll maintain the portfolio management frameworks, plans, processes, standards, governance and assurance services.
You’ll provide high quality and fit-for-purpose divisional reporting to CBD Executive and senior management on the design and delivery status of the CBD investment portfolio.
You’ll also undertake regular reviews of the CBD change portfolio to ensure it remains aligned with the business strategy and risk and control appetites while maintaining high data qualit! y information databases of the CBD investment portfolio.
Additionally, you’ll break down barriers and work collaboratively across the wider team to deliver a value-focused portfolio management capability of sufficient breadth and depth.
Requirements
As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you’ll be able to demonstrate developed planning and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and flexibility to changing priorities.
You’ll demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
It’s essential that you have a broad knowledge in key areas such as Portfolio Management, Design and Delivery standards, information management, and Analytical tools and techniques.
Additionally, a relevant, recognised formal qualification in Portfolio Management to certified level would be desirable.
