TRUST DOCTOR (SHO LEVEL)
ORTHOPAEDICS
Applications ar! e invited for a Trust Doctor (SHO level) in Orthopaedics at this modern District General Hospital. The post is available from 3rd February 2014 for a period of 6 months to 1 year subject to review. The contract may be extended further following satisfactory review and mutual consent.
There is a comprehensive local teaching programme including morning fracture meetings, X-ray meetings and formal teaching and audit sessions. Posts are recognised for MRCS. A 1:13 full shift worked with general surgery out of hours is in operation.
Candidates should ideally have relevant experience of Orthopaedics at Senior House Officer level. Cross cover for General Surgery is also required. This post is required to cover out of hours work for General Surgery.
There is an active postgraduate programme within the hospital and the trust has close links with the University of Sheffield. This post is unaccredited for training purposes, however the post holder will be gi! ven access to educational opportunities at this Trust.
