£31,331 - £35,244 per annum
We are seeking a dynamic and well organised individual to join our events te! am within the University̢۪s central Advancement department.
You will be working on a variety of different events that can range from open days, award ceremonies, VIP receptions to conferences, and high level meetings.
You will deliver professional and high profile events that enhance the standing and reputation of the University of Northampton.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a demonstrable track record of events management. You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally and be confident and skilled at building and developing relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key duties:
Strategic planning
Budget management
Supplier selection and management
Site planning
Health and safety
Liaising with internal departments
All pre-event planning and reporting
On site management
The ideal candidate should have exper! ience overseeing the delivery of large scale, complex events, ! managing each element, combined with a can do approach and hard work ethic.
