CORE DUTIES
Cleaning Kennels and Cat pens and other k ennels and cattery areas including kitchens, corridors, restrooms, offices, sto! rerooms, grooming area and outside areas. Laundering of animal bedding and towels etc
Feeding and e xercising pets staying at Precious Pets. Administering Medication, s upervision of animals, r ecord keeping, g rooming and b athing of animals.
Dealing with customers and visitors. Discussing customers’ pets. Managing arrivals and departures and taking bookings when required.
NON â€" CORE DUTIES
Developing and implementing improvements in working practices. Updating working procedures and standards
Facilities maintenance including in- depth cleaning, d ecoration, r epairs and g rounds maintenance.
29 hours per week minimum. Days per week and hours per day to be worked will vary according to business needs and may include split shifts weekends and bank holidays. You may be required to provide cover or change of hours at short notice.
Pay meets National Minimum Wage requirements
Kennel work is physically ! demanding. Applicants must be willing to work hard and able to! think for themselves. Applicants must be confident to converse with customers and use a computer based booking system. Training will be provided. Previous experience is preferred but applicants with a good attitude and a positive 'can do' approach will be considered equally.
