This individual will be responsible for advising and training the KNG in the effective management of Crisis Management Incidents. He will advise and train op! erations center staff members in modern techniques of maintaining situational awareness and responding to crises professionally, particularly in the area of communications and information sharing across the KNG. Inherent within this assistance are the recommendations necessary to establish personnel and equipment needs for the KNG Main Operations Center. As the Military Security Advisor, he will conduct one Information Analysis and Intelligence course per year; continue developing open source analysis capabilities and encourage information exchanges with both Kuwaiti and Coalition counterparts. He will assist in the fusing of operations and intelligence functions to improve the available information flow from and to units responding to crisis, while keeping the decision makers at all levels informed. The position requires the individual to work independently within both the KNG Security Command and the Staff Units Command. This position requires working with an English-Arab! ic Interpreter
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Former Army or Marine O4/O5 with operations, intelligence and security experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of U.S. military experience on staff at an Intelligence & Watch Center or in an operations center at division or higher unit level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with either U.S. Military, Middle Eastern, or other foreign state unit training programs highly desired
Minimum of two (2) years of U.S. Military experience in the area of information analysis and intelligence production
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Middle East
