More details about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Reporting to the Engineering Manager my client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their organisation. In this challenging role you will be part of a team of Engineers who pr! ovide maintenance support so that manufacturing can optimise output and quality of their manufactured product. The role covers the maintenance of all manufacturing plant and equipment, buildings and facilities. You will work proactively carrying out all planned maintenance activities and projects for business improvements. Some of the key responsibilities and activities will include:
fault finding and diagnostics
breakdown repairs of machinery, machine tools and special purpose machinery, lines and equipment
some installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment
coordinate maintenance activities and manage issue escalation
Maintaining AC/DC Drives, PLC's, pneumatics and hydraulics
Basic mechanical knowledge and maintenance backup is expected
The Person
Applicants must be apprentice trained and time served Electrical Maintenance Engineers or with experience within the manufacturing sector. It is essential that you have e! xperience of maintaining PLC systems (fault finding only). Ide! al candidates will have some mechanical knowledge and skills to complement a sound electrical maintenance background.
The Salary
£27,500 + OT (potenmtial earnings upto £40,000)
