  • Member of the Enterprise Applications Team.
  • Technical delivery for key IT projects within role scope
  • Planning, implementation and control of service provision to meet the requirements of its business and clients.
  • Provide local technical support within own area to ensure systems remain operational and effective
  • Ensure timely remedial action in the event of system problems Role
  • IT Support Analyst to:
    • Provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff
    • Collect data on services delivered against service level agreements
    • Work with local leadership and staff to understand systems requirements
    • Work with group specialists to review and develop policies in the context of supported systems and hardware
    • Work with UK-MEA and Core Infrastructure IT Support Groups to support, review and develop supporting system infrastructure.
    • Investigates more complex problems and oth! er requests for support and determines appropriate actions (sy! stem modifications, workarounds, enhancements, data manipulation, operating procedures, training etc.)
    • Monitors application systems, notes problems, identifies performance trends and takes corrective action within scope of agreed procedures
    • Supervises installation and maintenance of new systems, hardware and software, including programming and management of roll out in local area
    • Receives and logs requests for support from help desk, other service delivery staff and/or users. Prioritises requests in accordance with agreed criteria and needs of the organisation.
    • Monitors progress of requests for support, keeps all parties informed and takes action to minimise delays
    • Ensures services and components meet agreed performance targets and service levels
    • Uses appropriate systems, tools and documentation to maintain the hardware/software register
    • Participates in system reviews to identify problems, solutions and needs fo! r upgrades
    • Providing guidance and coordinating work of other staff providing technical support
    • Documents all work using the required standards, methods and tools
    • Provides guidance to own team on technical issues
    Scope:
    • To develop team synergy and project delivery responsibility
    • To work effectively and build professional relationships in a larger group
    • To be part of larger and complex region-wide projects
    • To move into a Technical Portfolio lead role
    • To Provide Out of Hours Support

    • Good knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2
    • Good knowledge of IIS and .net
    • Knowledge Microsoft SQL
    • Knowledge of F5 load bala! ncing
    • Knowledge of Kerberos Authentication
    • Understand! ing of Citrix
    Additionally any experience with the following products would be highly beneficial;

    • Experience with Financial Applications including installing, monitoring and upgrades.
    • Infor PM (Performance Management) application suite
    • Infor Extensity
    • Oracle JD Edwards
    • RedSkyIT ProgressionAEC
    • Monitoring Systems
