- Excellent numeracy and financial awareness.
- Good general computer literacy with a good knowledge of the Windows
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Methodical approach and ability to maintain accurate and transparent
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills as systems and needs develop.
- Experience of Sage Packages.
The Bookkeeper would be responsible for a variety of tasks including the following:
- Entering transactions onto accounting software, particularly Sage.
- Processing the monthly salaries,the related Inland Revenue payments, pension payments and child! care voucher payments.
- Using Sage to undertake monthl! y reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Processing monthly BACS payments
- Paying staff expenses ensuring they are properly authorised.
- Maintaining all financial records and data accurately and within agreed
