THE ROLE
The key day-to-day tasks of the P! rocess/Quality Assurance Consultant include:
Support delivery of process development/change to drive compliance, quality and cost reduction
Provide on-site analysis and recommendations for process methodology and improvement
Establish key performance metrics and support the collation of performance data
Review the current processes and work procedures across all functional areas and identify improvements
Provide support and expertise in re-engineering processes and their effective implementation
THE CANDIDATE
Key attributes of the Process/Quality Assurance Consultant include:
Practical hands-on knowledge of implementing process quality procedures, lean methodologies including (but not exclusively) kaizen, 5S, daily controls, structured problem solving and visual factory management
Strong commercial awareness of business processes and relationships; managing costs/value for money
Experience ! with ISO9001 or similar standard
Experience in Total ! Quality Management, KAIZEN, 5S
At least 2 years’ experience within a process engineering environment; this could be from an industrial placement year
Full UK Driving Licence
The role is based in the West Midlands and is paying £18,000-£22,000 depending on experience.
