Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: RedditchSalary: 23 â€" 32 dependant on experienceIntroductionThis position reports to the Quality Manager and is an integral part of th! e Quality & CI Department. The postâ€"holder will be responsible for all aspects of product compliance and improvement of precision machined products and forged components. Deliverables* To participate in the analysis and corrective action from the Material Review Board* Providing accurate feedback to operations on current performance and to divisional nonâ€"conformance reviews within area* Able to lead quality reviews at local level within manufacturing divisions* To lead Problem Solving (RCA) with Operations on priority issues* To support and assist the system for reporting out quality trends for product methods, failures and taken action* To work with the Engineering team to develop (P)FMEA for New Product Introduction * Collate and prepare relevant FAIR documentation as and when required * To support to manufacturing operations led SQDCP reviews and actions * Work along with the Metrology Department and ability * Preparation of quality documentations * Must comply with ! the Company Health and Safety Policy and QI Procedures Candida! te Portfolio * Educated to HNC level in engineering and/or with extensive experience in Quality engineering * Experience working in aerospace or automotive industry is an advantage * Experience in a wide range of product quality in an manufacturing company is essential * Ability to read drawings and understand machining processes * Ability to use a variety of metrology equipment would be advantageous * To have a strong knowledge of aerospace components, standards and requirements * Able to carry out root cause analysis and quality improvements by using tools such as 8D, PFMEA and Six Sigma* Ability to work on their own and use own initiative and must be a team player * Must have a strong attention to detail and problem solving skills * Able to be flexible and work towards deadlines * Clear, concise and appropriate communication style both written and verbal to all levels of the business and customers* Have strong IT skills and proficient to work with MS packageseResponse En! gineering & Technical services team provide professional services placing people into the Engineering, Technical, Manufacturing and Logistics sectorsWe place in demand people across the breadth of industry from skilled shop floor personnel and specialist engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.Our consultants are from your industry and will have a good understanding of your skills and advise best on your next step!!We are always searching for the best talent, so if you know anyone, why not recommend someone to one of our professional team who will be more than happy to help.
