An experienced Personal Tax Manager is required for one of Cheshire’s leading independent practices. Based close to Chester, the firm offer modern offices with! free parking and an excellent working environment.
Reporting to the Tax Partner, the Personal Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing a small team focussing on:
- Managing a varied portfolio of a high volume of personal tax clients consisting of sole traders, partnerships and HNWI’s, completing personal, partnership and trust tax returns, along with p11d’s
- Overseeing the timely preparation and submission of repayment claims
- Providing tax planning and advisory tax services
- Correspondence with the clients and with the HMRC
- Managing client and third party relationships from initial set up meetings, liaising with other accountants, to on-going service issues
- ATT / CTA / ACA qualified
- A proven background in managing and motivating a small team
