Description: Energy Resourcing Ltd is currently seeking to employ Senior & Principal Process Engineer X 2 right now, this position will be placed in England. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. We are currently sourcing staff and contract Senior Process Engineers X 2 to join the North East Office as part of a growing process engineering team.
Additional resource is currently required for an upstream compliance project, a refinery project and chemicals heat integration upgrade project.
Duration of work 12-18 months.
- The candidates will be talented, motivated individuals wishing to develop their skills in a team environment.
- The individual will be required to respond to the lead engineer performing calculations, completing datasheets, registers, preparing reports and studies and updating P&IDs.
- Simulation skills are required with competency in the use of Hysys as a minimum and preferably Flarenet.
- Previous upstream relief and blowdown experience designing to API standards is essential.
- To provide Process engineering work in assigned Projects as directed by the Lead Process Engineer
- To clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary
- To plan own work in accordance to provided manhour budget and schedule for project area of responsibility.
- Responsible for maintaining work progress (budget, schedule) and raising change documentation where necessary.
- Supervision of technical detail, budget and schedule of Process design in Project work where requested by the Lead Process Engineer
- Liaison with client, vendors and outside parties in a professional manner
- Where requested to undertake Process focal point duties
- Quality Assurance â" Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
- Raise variation notices were required to control project change and man-hour spends against agreed scope and budgets.
- Safety â" Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow company OH&S procedures
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering
- Experienced Chartered Engineer preferred
- Excellent technical communication and co-ordination skills.
