Description: AECOM is at present recruited Road Safety Auditors - Transport Planning - St Albans right now, this job will be placed in England. We are looking to recruit junior Road Safety Auditors to work in the Traffic team of the Transportation business line. These full time, permanent positions will be based in our St Albans office.

Job responsibilities:

• Required to carry out Collision Analysis studies, Road Safety Audits (in accordance with HD19/03) and Non-Motorised User Audits (in accordance with HD42/05).
• Undertake highway design, therefore must be open to opportunities for involvement in the design and assessment of a diverse range of traffic engineering schemes, therefore a broad experience of traffic engineering is preferred.
• Obtain design information from project teams or sub-consultants.
• Carry out risk assessments
• Prepare technical reports.
• Obtain sign off approval.
• Send detailed information to external parties.

Candidate requirements:

• University degree or HND qualification relevant to road safety (engineering preferred)
• Ideally eligible to undertake Road Safety Audits as Team Member in accordance with the Highways Agency Standard HD 19/03.
• Experience in Traffic and Road Safety Engineering Prepare professional reports, tenders and project plans
• Undertake onsite investigations and data collection
• Be willing to work in small teams and be flexible to working unsociable hours (if required)
• Experience in AutoCAD is preferred, whilst knowledge of KeyAccident would be an advantage
• Completion of RoSPA training preferred
• Written and spoken proficiency in English
• Drivers license essential.
