The Payroll Consultant has a reporting line to the Payroll Manager responsible for the management of their payroll team.
Key Responsibilities of the Role are:
- Deliver payrolls in accordance with Logica processes and client specific working procedures (e.g. data capture, pre-transmission reporting/checking, data transmission, system refresh)
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and their employees.
- Undertake tax year end delivery ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations
- Attendance at Client Service Review meetings when required.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll legislation and product knowledge
- Adherence to Logica Delivery Assurance policies, processes and procedures
- Have excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience using Microsoft applications, esp Outlook and Excel
- At least 5 GCSE's C and above inc Maths and English
- Experience working in customer services and HR would be beneficial
- IPP qualified would be desirable
