Duties -
- Developing and delivering a drug and alcohol service to adults aged 18 years onwards.
- Giving treatment intervention, information, advice and support to adult substance users.
- Taking referrals, undertaking triage assessments and processing appropriate referrals to other agencies.
- Operating a needle exchange service.
- Facilitating drugs awareness sessions for other professionals.
- Undertaking DIR assessments and processing appropriate referrals to other agencies.
- To provide open access advice and information.
