The Leyton Children Centre, a joint Riverley and Newport venture is looking for people who have experience of working with young children and families within our communities. The Leyton Children Centre has recently been formed following the re-organisation by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Valuing the wealth of social, cultural and linguistic diversity in our part of East London is central to our success.
Leyton Children Centre is focussed on:-
- Improving outcomes for the whole community including the more vulnerable children and families;
- Meeting the core offer of children services through outreach and family support;
- The development of a comprehensive range of under fives and family support services.
This full time post is for 36 hours a week for 52 weeks of the year.
Salary â€" Scale PO2 Point 35 to 38 (£30,987 â€" £33,510)
Qualifications: Relevant Professional child or family focused qualification
FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
This post is for 36 hours a week for 52 weeks of the year.
Salary â€" Scale 4 Point 18 to 21 (£18,915 â€" £20,877).
Qualifications: Good written and spoken English, numerate, ICT literate
