Job Description
As a HR Business Partner, you will be at the heart of driving people management excellence across our organisation. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with and supporting local business leaders to optimise talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and overall employee well-being.
- Empowering mid and senior management through effective coaching, fostering a culture of strong leadership.
- Building and enhancing capabilities through comprehensive training and development needs analysis.
- Playing a pivotal role in organisational design, ensuring our structure aligns perfectly with our business strategy.
- Driving employee engagement to new heights by designing and implementing engaging action plans.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of IR/ER to maintain robust relationships with employee groups and trade unions.
- Championing HR processes that ensure operational excellence and compliance throughout the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for an HR Generalist with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Possess a level 5 CIPD or equivalent HR credentials.
- Previous leadership experience in a complex and unionised environment, showcasing strong dispute resolution skills.
- Expert knowledge of employment law and its practical applications.
- A business-focused mindset with exceptional change management and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, ensuring effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
- Solid numeracy and literacy capabilities, coupled with a keen sense of commercial awareness.
- Flexibility and adaptability, allowing you to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and other essential tools.
- Strong organisational abilities, enabling you to prioritise effectively and deliver results.
- Proven experience in building robust working relationships and effectively challenging and influencing teams.
- Customer-focused approach, always striving to provide exceptional service.
