Cupcake Decorator


 

We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic cupcake decorators even without experience. As a friendly, family-run company, we make sure to look after all our team, and offer great opportunities to learn new skills and progress within the company, through a structured training program. We are in a modern and well kitted out bakery in Park Royal, very close to Harlesden tube station in NW10. Our products are made with care and sent out as soon as they're ready, always fresh. We have indoor and outdoor break areas, with an outdoor garden. We tend to do everything in house, so you’ll find our marketing, accounting, buying, customer service teams all around the bakery.

About the role

  • Our team of cupcake decorators work 5 shifts a week on a 7 day a week rota; shifts start at 6am. Please bear this in mind when applying as you will need to be at our bakery in Park Royal at that time early in the morning.
  • Parking is available locally, the tube station (Harlesden) is a 10-minute walk, and there is cycle parking on-site, for those that wish to exercise on the way to work.
  • The shift time varies, on quieter days it may be 6-7 hours, on busier days it may be 9,10 or 11 hours, at very busy seasonal times of year can be 12 hours some days.
  • On average you can always expect to have a minimum of 40 hours.
  • You are paid weekly, directly into your bank account, receiving your payslip on a Tuesday, and payment every Thursday. We operate a clock in procedure at the start of your day.

Ideally, you’ll have

  • Good communication skills, along with an ability to work well in a team of people, our cupcake team is made up of over 20 decorators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is sometimes very busy
  • You will need to have and present the correct right to work documents for working in the UK to be employed.
