Job Description – Part time - Café Assistant/Event Staff

Reporting to: Hospitality & Development Manager
Roles & Responsibilities
Aim always to provide an outstanding customer experience and work with the team to set the tone and atmosphere for the café and events.
Communicate with confidence to customers information on:
· The food and drink menus, and retail items
Responsibilities
· Greet customers, show them to a table and introduce them to the menus.
· Take customer orders.
· Serve food from the kitchen to the tables.
· Make coffee barista style coffee and other drinks.
· Maintaining hygiene standards across the café spaces.
· Work events, such as large parties and weddings – food and drinks service, bar work.
Experience preferred, though not essential
Notes on Hours:-
The hours will have seasonal variations and variations of working times as the events will often be outside of the opening hours of the café, therefore we require someone who can be flexible around these needs – this post will involve weekend and evening work.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
