Your team and working environment:
This position is based in Germany. You will join the Europe Operations team (42 countries with Headquarters in Paris, London, Munich, Vienna, Warsaw etc.) and you will report directly to the Senior Vice President Operations Northern Europe, who is based in Munich. As part of the Northern Europe Hub you will exchange with other VP Operations on a regular basis.
You should be eligible to fulfill the requirements for a work permit in Germany.

The Operations Leadership team is looking for an organized and strong operational leader to manage the portfolio of ca. 30 hotels in Germany in collaboration with our support office departments. You represent AccorHotels as a Managing Operator and ensure proper execution of the management contract signed with Owners in terms of our group values, strategy, brands strengths, policies and processes.
What you will be doing:
The most important responsibilities in this role will be
- Manage the General Managers of the hotels on a day to day basis in alignment with the Hotel Management contracts
- Being a strong leader and coach to the General Managers in their daily operations in order for them to perform at the highest level possible
- Initiate new actions to improve the performance of the hotels
- Review and follow up with the General Managers on KPI’s e.g. Topline, RevPAR Index, distribution, loyalty, quality, margin, drop through, productivity
- Develop high guest satisfaction with creating initiatives together with the General Managers
- Advise on renovation projects to Owners in line with the capex needs
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Run internal communication to the hotels and the support office departments
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in a senior leadership position within Hotel Operations, several operative units or a similar business
- Passionate to grow and develop self and others; strong relator with ability to build relationships
- Strategic, creative and able to communicate effectively; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls in previous roles
- Empathy, drive and the ability to process improvement
- Highly responsible & reliable; ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Fluent spoken and written in German and English; any other languages are very much appreciated
