The Retail Operations department is responsible for generating income and profit for the Bodleian Libraries, through on-site sales in our two shops and online at bodleianshop.co.uk. We develop and sell a varied range of unique merchandise which is inspired by the vast collections of the Bodleian Libraries. We also operate a successful wholesale and brand licensing business.
You will support in retail merchandising with a focus on assisting with stock management, ordering and invoicing, and providing a consistently excellent level of customer service.
You will place orders with third-party suppliers and liaise with suppliers to address delivery discrepancies, damages and returns. You will match delivery notes and invoices ready for processing and liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve invoice queries. You will prepare reports using the EPOS and stock control system and under direction, you will investigate stock control and transfer issues.
