LTF Recruitment are seeking dynamic and visionary individuals to join one of our partner schools in Ilkeston to oversee the Design & Technology, Geography, English, and Maths departments.

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work, ensuring alignment with national standards.
- Provide instructional leadership, supporting and mentoring teachers within the departments.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to improve academic performance.
- Collaborate with staff to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Liaise with parents and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and partnership.
- Stay abreast of current educational trends, research, and best practices in the respective subject areas.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently.

- Proven experience and expertise in the respective subject area.
- Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and inspire a team of teachers.
- A track record of delivering outstanding academic results.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to drive innovation and implement strategies to enhance the department’s performance.
