A fantastic opportunity to join an award winning boutique hotel in a stunning part of Dartmoor as a front of house supervisor.
Depending on your experience and age you will be paid up to £11 per hour and gain fantastic experience working in a fine dining restaurant and boutique hotel. Furthermore there is a great chance for progression if you want to continue in the hospitality industry with potential to progress quickly through to a managerial position.
We also have a yearly bonus scheme and usually over £1000 tips per annum!
The hotel is a 21 bedroom 4* boutique hotel, with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant which delivers and exceptionally high standard of food and service.
We are in the countryside with limited public transport to Exeter (50 minutes on the bus) however it is only a 15/20 minute walk to the local village (Chagford)
The role is a mixture of 7.30am - 3pm shifts and 3pm - 11pm and will include weekends. Finally, there is a potential for staff accommodation either on a permanent or temporary basis.
Key roles and Responsibilities:
- Helping run breakfast and dinner services
- Helping serve drinks, lunches and afternoon teas
- Welcoming guests to the hotel and checking them in
- Taking bookings
- Helping deal with guests enquiries and questions
- Helping ensure guest experience is seamless while you are on shift
Key Skills and Experience include:
- Excellent customer focused manner at all times
- Proactive positive attitude and must possess strong strategic thinking skills
- Ability to get to and from work easily.
- Good organisation skills and hands on mentality.
