Title: Property Claims Handler
Salary: Competitive- Dependent upon experience
Location: 100% remote or chose to work hybrid in one of our local offices
Term: Permanent, Full-Time
Sedgwick Resource Solutions are looking for experienced property claims handlers to join a business that encourages growth and development and supports a flexible work/life balance with fully remote work.
You will deal with property claims from cradle to grave working with adjusters and other support team members to close out your portfolio of claims.

Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in property claims handling is essential
- Manging claims from first notification of loss through to settlement
- Making informed decisions as well as using empathy and understanding to assess each claim
- Identify and evaluate evidence
- Avoid fraudulent claims
- Ability to identify suspicious information and apply correct procedures
- Manage your own caseload
- Maintain excellent customer service

- Understand the principle of indemnity and its application
- Proven skills in developing and maintaining close working relationships
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills
- Good investigation skills
- Desirable IT skills and proficient in using MS Word and Excel
- Quick learner with the confidence to ask questions
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Co-operates and works well with others in the pursuit of team goals
