The East Herts & Uttlesford office was established in July 2008 by its owner Mark Greatbatch, who has been delivering care services in the area since 1996. Mark first came into contact with Home Instead when he met Managing Director and UK Co-Founder, Trevor Brocklebank, at a United Kingdom Homecare Association Meeting in London in April 2008. In December 2010 Mark Greatbatch handed over the running of the East Herts & Uttlesford office to David Bassett and in 2022 David became Franchise Owner.

Job Description

We are looking for people with Kind, compassionate hearts, who want to make a true difference in the quality of life of our clients. As a Care Assistant, you will provide help & support in a variety of non-medical services including ( personal care & wash ) to help them keep independent in their own home.

We will provide you with regular consistent clients, with who you will build good professional relationships and make a real difference in their life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others in the community. Working as part of our family of Care assistants in East Hertfordshire and the surrounding area, you will be providing a range of care services to older adults living in their own homes as a Care Assistant.

Whilst we aim to make our working patterns as flexible as possible, you are required to work both during weekdays and alternate weekends to support your clients' care needs.

Your availability could be from 8 am to 9 pm, including every other weekend i.e consecutive weekends. In return, we will provide you Guaranteed hours contract from day one you will come on board, once you have successfully completed your Training and DBS check.
